Our Origins
Chris is a Red Seal journeyman automotive mechanic with over 25 years of experience in the service industry, including 14 years as the owner and operator of an independent automotive repair shop. While his early career was rooted in automotive work, Chris began to notice his passion for the industry waning—particularly the excitement that originally drew him to working with machines.
In pursuit of that passion, Chris transitioned into powersports, taking a position at a dealership servicing Honda, KTM, and BRP equipment. It was there that he rediscovered his enthusiasm for engines and mechanical systems. Having worked on his own and friends’ motorcycles, ATVs, and sleds since the mid-1990s, he recognized that this was where his skills and passion aligned most naturally.
Identifying a gap in specialized, affordable powersports services in Red Deer and the surrounding central Alberta region, Chris founded Cycle Clinic—a small, independent operation run from his home-based garage.
Since founding Cycle Clinic, Chris quickly outgrew his home-based garage and expanded the business into a dedicated shop located on the north end of Red Deer. His wife, Michele, a retired nurse, now plays an integral role in the business—assisting with scheduling, daily operations, and occasionally lending a hand in the shop when needed.
Chris brings a meticulous and passionate approach to every job. Whether it’s a routine oil change or a tire replacement, each service includes a thorough inspection and attention to detail that goes beyond the basics. His goal is not just to fix machines—but to ensure they run better, safer, and longer.
